Seems fitting that your birthday is so close to St. Valentine's Day! So, Happy Valentines Day too (and also to all who, if any, are finding yourselves here!)

The expensive & material gifts don't mean anything.. (to some sadly, yes, but not to me..) What is essential is invisible to the eye. Just being together, sharing a meal, sharing conversation by candle & Dove Bars is enough for me. (okay, the one thing I do really enjoy is a card, and esp ones that have something optionally written in them from the heart!:) Yeah, its a big commercial commodity holiday (which some men sadly detest now) but of all the holidays, it really is one of the best ones...just the world we live in today always wants instant gratification. It's become a very greedy world. And the men who are complaining about Valentines Day are either with the wrong kind of woman, have a negative outlook on the affairs in their heart, or just don't get it. Being single prob. doesn't help either.
A day devoted to love awareness and romance is a state of mind. A great one at that. I wish we could all live as simply as this. It's the little things that count. Why all the fuss? Because it improves the quality of our lives. :))
So let us all grow old along together. The best is yet to be!
